A sneaky peek…

Yep.  It happens.  Sometimes I say things that show my age.  Do others remember this thing called a ‘sneak preview’?  Do they still happen?  The ones I remember were sneaky previews of a movie or perhaps a television show.  They would always offer a delicious taste.  Just enough to tempt you into the real deal.  Yep.  It worked.  Probably still does.

What about a sneak preview of heaven?  I regularly hear people wondering what heaven will be like.

Love.  The fullness of the love of God.  Perfect love that drives out all fear.  No condemnation.  Immeasurable love – more than we can imagine.  Every tear wiped away.  Peace that transcends everything.  Joy.  Kindness.  Goodness.  Gentleness.  Forgiveness.

I’m convinced.  Sneak previews still exist.  We may wonder what the real deal of heaven is like, in its fullness, but everyone one of us is invited to the sneak preview.  We can live the real deal today.  You’re welcome.
